Mitsubishi Oil Corporation (now Nippon Oil Corp.) Together with Cosmo Oil in 2000 created the Nippon Global Tanker Corporation for transportation of oil by sea. In the same year created Sakai LNG KK companies Kansai Electric Power Co., Cosmo Oil, Ube Industries, Ltd. and the Corporation Iwatani International. It was created for the construction of LNG terminals and their further exploitation.
