An Vandevorst (born 1968) and Filip Arikcx (born 1971) are co-founders of the Belgian fashion label AF Vandevorst. An Vandevorst and Filip Arikcx studied in one of the most prestigious institutions of Antwerp’s Royal Academy, where they met. To create your own fashion label’s designers worked with Dries Van Noten, Dirk Bikkembergs and Ruffo. Together they were awarded the prestigious prize Venus De La Mode Fashion Week in Paris. Today, designers are working on the lines of fashionable footwear, accessories and underwear. Filip Arikcx well for a time worked as a freelance designer and stylist after working with Dirk Bikkembergs.
