Jeanne Lanvin - the first woman-modler of Paris. Lanvin has made such beautiful clothes for the daughter that many rich people asked to sew clothes for their own children. Soon, Lanvin modelled and sewed dresses for their mothers. In 1909 Lanvin has joined to Syndicat de la Couture which has noted its formal status as the woman - the fashion designer.
Already in 1920 Lanvin has opened the shops devoted to house conditions, men’s wear, furs and lingerie. Creation Lanvin Parfums SA in 1924 and Arpège in 1927 became following step to popularity. Later spirits, My Sin, steels unique (the animalic-aldehyde based on a heliotrope).

Same year Alber Elbaz has been appointed by art director Lanvin. In 2006 it has transformed the Fashion house. Flower colour of the forget-me-not, favourite shade Jeanne Lanvin became the basic tendency.
In May 2009 Michel Obama has been photographed in footwear Lanvin from suede, with grosgrain laces of a tape and metal pink socks. Slippers as informed, cost 540$.
