in October 2009 was issued a joint statement Telenor and Altimo (manages the telecommunications assets of Alfa Group). The parties decided to unite their packages in the Russian VimpelCom and Ukrainian Kyivstar to VimpelCom Ltd a new company from listing on the NYSE.Company registered in Bermuda and offices are located in Holland. Also on March Kyivstar provides fixed broadband Internet access in seven major cities of Ukraine - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol.
