Joseph Altuzarra famous New York designer and founder of the eponymous fashion house. Joseph was born and raised in Paris, where he graduated from Academy of Arts.
Prior to creating his own label, Altuzarra passed to practice in the design studio fashion domv Marc Jacobs. After Marc Jacobs, he worked as a freelance designer in Proenza Schouler. After Riccardo Tisci hired Joseph as an assistant, where he worked on a collection of ready to wear for Givenchy, with particular emphasis on tailoring. After this promising young designer decided to returning to New York to start his own business.
The basis for the eclectic style Altuzarra become a classic Parisian training and avant-garde influence in New York.
