Before creation of brand Chloé’s luxury Fashion houses made only clothes Haute Couture (i.e. made-to-measure). It perfectly approached for the few who could have the big means. For the others local seamstresses sewed copies, often bad quality.
Founder Chloé’s Gaby Aghion has understood that in the market there is a big niche with which it is necessary to fill, despite formalities 1950. He has decided to create a line high-quality, soft, pleasant for a body of clothes of their good fabrics. This line has been named prêt-à-porter.
Known Couturier Givenchy in 1956 the first has adopted idea of house Chloé’s - “the Ready collection”.
