As research company ABI Research informs, iPhone occupies a share of the global market of phones in 1,5 %. It became possible thanks to the come to the end quarter in which course Apple has sold 3,79 million phones.

 In the end of 2008, the share of the market of the company made 1,1 %. Hardening of positions Apple has passed in parallel with reduction of shares Nokia and Sony Ericsson. Finnish vender now occupies 36,2 %, and Japanese-Swedish – only 5,6 %. Positions have improved RIM (3 %), LG (8,8 %) and Samsung (17,8 %).

 Analysts connect sales volumes of manufacturers with presence in catalogues of touch devices. So at Nokia and Sony Ericsson practically is not present phones whereas Samsung and LG is more active than others work in this direction. In total for a quarter it has been sold 258 million phones.
